I started Mopes as an escape from my perfectionist tendencies. Pretty quickly I forgot that and fell in a big dark hole where nothing was good enough to release, I couldn't see any direction in the music I'd already put out and I wanted to call quits on the project. I started The Morgus Creeps, a new outlet for the stuff that wasn't good enough, and pretended it was a band because I was too embarrassed to put my name to it. I've come to have some pride in it though, I think? Here it is anyway, I'm putting The Morgus Creeps behind me and re-releasing under Mopes, enjoy!

This EP is a fuck you to direction, to perfection and to never feeling good enough, we're all gone with the wind, embrace pulverantilism my pops would say.
